Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers or facial fillers are an injectable treatment which plump and fill out lines and hollows to rejuvenate the face and create a younger, fresher appearance

Fillers are used to treat lines and wrinkles, loss of volume, sagging jawlines and to disguise eye bags. Here at Cosmedics we use two types of dermal fillers:

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers attract water from the surrounding tissues and helps the skin to retain moisture which adds plumpness, smooths lines and restores volume. Hyaluronic acid can be used on the face, lips, neck, décolletage and hands. It is fully reversible and can easily be removed if necessary. Examples of Hyaluronic Acid Fillers used at our clinic are Restylane, Perfectha, Emervel and Belotero.

Collagen Stimulating Fillers also encourage the skin to produce collagen. These fillers can be used on the cheeks, jawlines, nasolabial folds and for non-surgical rhinoplasty. These are long lasting fillers and tend to be excellent for deep lines and wrinkles. This filler is not reversible. Radiesse and Ellanese are examples of Collagen Stimulating Fillers used at Cosmedics.
