Privacy

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and tracks nobody. This page explains what that means and what happens if you email or call the clinic.

What this website collects

Nothing.

There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising or social media tracking, no embedded video or maps, and no contact form. Reading this site leaves no record of you with us, and nothing about your visit is shared with any other company.

That is why you are not being asked to accept cookies. There are none to accept.

Server logs

Like any website, this one is hosted on a server that keeps standard access logs — the address your request came from, the time, the page requested and the browser used. These are created and held by the hosting company under its own retention policy, and are used only to keep the site running and secure. They are not used to build a profile of you and are not combined with anything else.

If you email or call

If you email the clinic, your message and your email address are held in the clinic's email account so that someone can reply to you. If you call, the clinic may note your name and number in order to arrange an appointment.

Please don't send medical details, photographs or your PPS number by email. Ordinary email isn't a secure channel, and anything about your health deserves better protection than it gives. Bring it to your consultation instead.

Patient records

If you become a patient, the notes taken at your consultation and treatment are clinical records. They are held by the clinic under the rules that apply to medical records, separately from anything described on this page. Ask at the clinic if you would like to know more about how those are kept.

Your rights

Under data protection law you can ask what information the clinic holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to how it is used, or ask for a copy. Write to the clinic at the address above, or email info@cosmedics.ie.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, which is the Irish supervisory authority, at dataprotection.ie.

Changes to this notice

If the site ever starts using cookies or analytics — for example if advertising is restored — this page will be updated before that happens, and you will be asked to consent first.

Not sure which treatment applies to you? That is what the consultation is for.
