PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
For natural Skin Rejuvenation
PRP is an advanced treatment which utilises the growth factors present in your own blood to regenerate your skin. PRP encourages skin rejuvenation by stimulating the growth of collagen and improves blood supply to the tissues, leading to healthier younger looking skin. A small blood test is taken and placed in a centrifuge to isolate the protein rich plasma and platelets to create the PRP.
How does it work?
The PRP can be used a couple of ways. One option is the spread the plasma on the face after microneedling, a non-painful procedure which creates superficial tiny holes using a derma pen. Both microneedling and PRP stimulate collagen growth. The alternative option is a ‘Vampire Facial’, this involves having the plasma injected into the skin like a filler. PRP improves blood supply and encourages collagen growth, skin texture and tone. It is an excellent alternative to dermal fillers.
